December 28, 2007 Show

Good show on Friday, folks. We featured a gift from Santa: the Children of Nuggets box set put out by Rhino.

If you missed the show, you can listen to the podcast below or download it to your computer and listen at your leisure. The podcast cut off part of the final song, so I've made the mp3 of that song available for download (The Nerves - One Way Ticket), along with a few others. Enjoy!

Welcome and Stay Tuned

Welcome, folks.

This is the blog for The Beat Surrender, a radio program broadcast on WQRI 88.3 FM, Roger Williams University Radio in Bristol, Rhode Island. The show seeks to bring you the best in classic punk, post-punk, proto-punk, power pop, garage rock and new wave with a healthy dose of new music stirred in for good measure.

You can listen live on Fridays from 6-8pm at http://wqri.rwu.edu/live.php.

Now, if you are unable to listen live or miss the show, this is the place to come, as I will make podcasts of the show available for download, along with playlists and a few select mp3s.

Stay tuned for news from the December 28 show. . . .
